What We Do
The Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE) is a pre-professional organization at UC San Diego, which is devoted to promoting professional development and preparing undergraduates for their future. Whether you already have a goal in mind or are still deciding how to map out your future career, SASE wants to play a role in your college career by providing you with the necessary resources, such as resume workshops, networking opportunities, professional exposure, company visits, and many more.
Missions of SASE:
- To prepare Asian heritage scientists and engineers for success in the global business world
- To celebrate diversity on campuses and in the workplace
- To provide opportunities for members to make contributions to their local communities
Intern Program
SASE at UC San Diego values the importance of mentorship when it comes to learning from hands-on experiences. Each year, SASE will open their internship positions for members to apply for. For one quarter, or perhaps longer, the interns will work along-side with their designated officer in order to learn important organization management skills.
